FAIR Trade-In Value

We believe in providing lasting value to our customers, and that’s why we’ve created the FAIR Trade-In Value program. Whether you’re upgrading to a larger diamond or selecting a new style, our trade-in program allows you to apply the full value of your original diamond purchase towards your new selection. Here’s how it works:

  1. Full Credit for Your Diamond: When you trade in your original KOMO diamond, you’ll receive the full amount you paid (excluding taxes) as a credit towards the purchase of a new diamond. This ensures that your original investment retains its value and contributes significantly to your next piece.
  2. Certificate Requirement: To process the trade-in, the original diamond certificates (such as GIA or other recognized certification) must be provided. These documents verify the diamond's authenticity and characteristics, helping us ensure that the trade-in process is smooth and accurate.
  3. Condition of Diamond: The diamond being traded in must be in its original, undamaged condition. We understand that wear and tear happens, but the diamond should not have any chips, cracks, or other damage that could compromise its quality or value.
  4. New Diamond Value: The new diamond you select must be at least double the value of the diamond you’re trading in. This policy is designed to help you meaningfully upgrade your piece while maintaining the value of your original investment.
  5. Mounting and Side Diamonds: We accept all mountings (ring settings) as part of the trade-in process. The value of the mounting will be assessed based on the current market prices of gold or platinum. If your mounting contains side diamonds, we will offer a credit for them as well, ensuring that the entirety of your original piece is valued.
